Well, I just got back from a trip! I went up to Pennsylvania with my family and visited all sorts of landmarks. We started off leaving the Houston airport at 7 pm and didn't get to Philadelphia till around midnight and then drove to Gettysburg from there...we had practically no sleep that night which was no fun at all... Gettysburg was amazing; we had a very nice tour of the area and visited all the monuments and the national cemetery there. Then we went to Maryland, where we visited Antitem, another Civil War battlefield. We then went back to Pennsylvania and saw Amish and visited an Amish farm, my mother bought one of their homemade quilts...and we went on a buggy ride. Then we went to Hershey, home of the chocolate, and had loads of fun there. After Hershey we went back to Philadelphia and saw all the sites there. The Liberty Bell and Independence Hall were some of the many landmarks we visited. All in all it was great, and I got to see a lot of American history that I had never been able to visit before! Yeah, this journal entry is a bit late, and some of my new photos are already posted are from the trip!
